HOWARD D. COHEN – PRESIDENT & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Howard D. Cohen, Esq. received his bachelor’s of science degree from Cornell University and doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Miami (Magna Cum Laude / Order of the Coif / Class Ranking 5 out of over 375 law students). Howard Cohen practiced with the preeminent law firms of Becker & Poliakoff, P.A. and of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., specializing in commercial real estate and lending transactions, and is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic & Pacific Companies. Howard Cohen has more than fifteen years of real estate investment, real estate law, and management experience.
RANDY K. WEISBURD – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Randy K. Weisburd received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration at the University of Miami. Mr. Weisburd joined Atlantic & Pacific Companies in 2006 as the Chief Operating Officer. Randy’s responsibilities include the day to day growth management and execution of the company’s overall strategic plan. Prior to joining Atlantic & Pacific, Randy managed the Florida division of LNR Property Corporation. In this role, Randy was responsible for overseeing the companies’ investments and personnel throughout Florida as well as the coordination of the management of all development, redevelopment, and stabilized real estate assets.
KENNETH J. COHEN – CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Kenneth J. Cohen, CPA, received his bachelor’s of science degree from Cornell University (with honors) and masters of professional accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. Kenneth Cohen was a senior tax and real estate consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP, and now is the Chief Financial Officer of Atlantic & Pacific Companies. Kenneth Cohen has provided accounting and real estate consulting services for over ten years.
TOM SMITH – MANAGING DIRECTOR
Tom Smith, CPA, received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University and then cultivated his career as an auditor for Touché Ross and served as Chief Financial Officer of various property management firms. During his 2 year tenure with A&P, Tom has continued to make monumental contributions in all aspects of our company.
DAVID G. HALPYRN – VICE PRESIDENT, PROPERTY OPERATIONS
David G. Halpryn obtained his Bachelor’s of Business Administration at the University of Miami. After receiving his degree from the University of Miami, Mr. Halpryn provided investment and insurance underwriting services for The Equitable and for Y.S. Liedman Investment Group. David Halpryn worked for more than seven years at one of our affiliated hotels, the Ramada Deauville Hotel as Chief Operations Manager, and is a founding partner of Atlantic & Pacific Companies and currently serves in the capacity as the Vice President of Property Operations.
STANLEY D. COHEN - PRINCIPAL
Stanley D. Cohen, MBA, received his bachelor’s of science degree from Duke University (Phi Beta Kappa) and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of California of Los Angeles. With over fifteen years of real estate management expertise, Stanley Cohen heads up the operation and management affiliate in California. Our management team in California manages and/or provides accounting services for over 7,000 apartment and condominium units in Southern California.
